Butch and Sundance are the two leaders of the Hole-in-the-Wall Gang. Butch is all ideas, Sundance is all action and skill. The west is becoming civilized and when Butch and Sundance rob a train once too often, a special posse begins trailing them no matter where they run. Review :

One of the best of the 60s & 70s

This is pretty much the ultimate action western movie I can think of. This movie has everything you could want, and it appeals to almost any type of viewer. Paul Newman, one of if not the best actor of our time is the lead along with Robert Redford, the two go together perfectly, I dare say this is one of the best combinations in Hollywood history.

Anyways the story takes place in the midwest, Newman and Redord run "The Hole in the Wall Gang" named after their hideout. They rob trains and take big scores, later the Pacific railroad gets together the best tracker and lawmen in the entire Western United States to track and kill Butch and Sundance. They must manage to evade their elite counterparts, the movie is 100 percent entertainment, especially during the chases. The movie is based on true events and is spectacular.

This movie won Best Score, Best Song (Raindrops) which was very good untraditional music in a western, it fit good in this movie, Best Cinematography, shot by Conrad L. Hall who also did Road To Perdition, arguably the best cinematography done to this very day, and Adapated Screenplay, all for the right reasons. George Roy Hill, Paul Newman, and Robert Redford all went on to create "The Sting" in 1973, which is possibly one of the best movies ever made. I praise this movie, 10/10

Arnold becomes fascinated by the country music and accepts an offer from Marty to take a trip with him and his musicians. Along the way, Arnold becomes the manager of Jose Gonzales-Gonzales (Jose Gonzales-Gonzales), who has decided he is a show producer. The group then engages in the production of a country-western music show.

From Nashville with talent

This is a visual jukebox of some of the biggest Country stars of the 1960's, including four true giants of the genre, Marty Robbins, Merle Haggard, Buck Owens and Don Gibson. The usual inane plot shouldn't detract from the fact that there is a lot of good country music included in the film. Leo G. Carroll of'The Man from Uncle' fame is partnered with Marilyn Maxwell whose car breaks down and Marty Robbins tour bus stops by to help and he also gives them two tickets for the Grand Ole Opry on which he is the star performer. The main source of irritation in the film comes from Gonzalez-Gonzalez a would be Mexican funny man who unfortunately ain't funny. Amongst the song Robbins sings are 'Singing the Blues', 'Tonight Carmen', 'Green Green Grass of Home' and 'El Paso.'

Review :

stupid and offensive

Lord, this sucked. There's a particular sort of sexual revolution flick from the 60s that manages to confuse sexual assault with sexual liberation. This film is an example. I lost track of how many times women are slapped, hit, whipped, or spanked in the film. And then there are all the times that women in the film fantasize about being slapped, hit, whipped or spanked (you know they want it, right?). Sometimes it is ostensibly part of safe fetish play-acting. Other times it plainly isn't, but you will wait in vain to see the heroine report to authorities that she has just been raped. Instead we get to hear her being lectured by her rapist about her inability to "let go".

Every scene of this film reeks of misogyny (speaking as a straight, white, married man in his late 30's, not a teenage lesbian women's studies major with a chip on her shoulder, lest you get the wrong idea).

Perhaps the one good thing about this film is that it provides a stark reminder of just how bad things really were for women only a few short decades ago.

Review :

Steckler an awkward gumshoe in diverting trash.

You really need to hand it to Mr. Steckler...the man could turn a thin dime into a thoroughly watchable motion picture. In BODY FEVER, Steckler stars opposite his gorgeous wife Carolyn Brandt as a private eye hired to find a female drug-runner who has disappeared with a massive heroin inventory. In truth, she is in hiding from the cartel after being robbed of the stash. Steckler hunts her down through a dot-to-dot network of various underworld miscreants, and the search leads him straight to her bed.

Odd, colorfully written characters played with surprising motivation help make this noir-inspired film worth a look, though viewers preferring a mainstream Hollywood polish will find the grainy minimalism off-putting.

A stunning depiction of a young girl's sexual awakening

Inga, 16, travels to the city to visit her sister Greta. The walls of Greta's apartment are thin and soon Inga hears Greta and her boyfriend, Carsten making love. Inga's arousal and subsequent journey into adulthood are beautifully and tastefully depicted. The film is lit with exquisite subtlety and edited with calm good taste. Maid in Sweden was one of the first adult films to play in mainstream theaters in the early seventies, and as a sixteen year old myself at the time, this film had particular relevance for me. Upon seeing the film again it still stands the test of time.

Review :

A great thriller

If Chabrol has any claim to be the French Hitchcock then it is surely based on this, his best film. Starring his wife Stephane Audran it is set in a French village, which helps give a profound sense of isolation to the terrible events which take place there. As with all great thrillers the fear comes through the gradual realisation of what is really happening, rather than the continuous portrayal of graphically violent acts. The sense of evil in the film is palpable. Unmissable!

A very young Isabelle Adjani!

Isabelle Adjani (about 15 at the time) portrays a girl who does not want to leave for a holiday camp.But fortunately,she falls in love with the counselor (perhaps after a good whacking?).

But the main subject (check the title) is the story of a very poor dirty boy ("bougnat" is a colloquial word for coal man)who does want to spend his holidays in the aforementioned holiday camp.But as he's got nobody to pay for it,he will go secretly...

Strictly for children ,although the numerous Adjani fans might be interested in watching her first screen appearance.It's harmless entertaining and it's better than its current rating.
